It was my first day in college and I already feel stressed, I’ve always been stressed when it comes to studying. I’m scared of failing and I always think of my parents and the money they spend on my education, which makes me stress even more. Whenever we have assignments or tests, I don’t sleep, and I’m always stressed and anxious. Examinations were approaching and I wasn’t getting enough sleep which in turn was causing headaches and I feeling my heartbeat increasing gradually by the day. I didn’t sleep for two days straight and during the exams, the headaches increased, I felt like someone was hitting my head, I felt something was wrong and before I knew it, I fainted, and was rushed to the hospital. The doctor said I was over stressed and needed to rest.

You really need to take things easy. One step at a time, and gradually things will get better. I had a similar issue when I just got into college. I was a novice in almost everything and this made me very depressed. I wanted good grades but the process of achieving it was tough. Along the line, I had to create a task planner that I followed. This helped me a lot. I hope this helps.

Academic stress is a very huge topic and I believe it has to be looked into very closely. Little wonder why fresher get in to school with high spirit but for a short time and then chicken out eventually. I believe not being able to cope with the stress that comes with being in school make them opt out of the course or school eventually.

Life is short but a gradual process sometimes there’s no hurry but we force ourselves to hurry even when there’s no need to. You need to take each day by the day. Calm down and look for a distraction

We need to all come to the awareness that we only need to do our best and leave the rest to God because only God can guarantee success.

🤔I feel that I am sounding religious, right? 😀 but to be candid He is the ultimate and we need to acknowledge the fact that God is the alpha and the Omega either we like it or not.

Talking about the feeling of success or becoming successful or maybe breaking some limitations takes huge work and such might cause emotional stress. Having tried all possible dimensions but it keep failing but when I called upon the Ultimate, He answers my request and things was made easy.

Basing it on physical dimension, I proposed you must learn to be yourself and understanding yourself is the key to moving on in all areas of life. Read a lot, sleep well and play little.
